We survived another NATO summit, Biden just signed off on sending another 3,000 troops to Europe, and the United States’ gift of deadly cluster bombs just arrived in Ukraine… we’ve got a lot to cover today.
And just a quick note to say thank you to all of y’all for your patience… I know it has been a few weeks since I’ve had the chance to make one of these videos, and I appreciate your continued support more than you know!
Now let’s get to it… The latest NATO summit just wrapped up in Lithuania, and Joe Biden celebrated by signing an executive order that will allow the Pentagon to mobilize another 3,000 reservists for deployment to Europe.
To put that into context, as AntiWar.com notes, since February 2022, Washington has deployed “over 20,000 additional troops to Europe, bringing U.S. troop levels on the continent to over 100,000 for the first time since 2005.”
How many Americans watching this video knew that 100,000 of our troops were stationed in Europe right now? And why do you think that is?
The Pentagon is justifying sending another batch of troops to the region by saying they’ll be part of Operation Atlantic Resolve… which is the title NATO has given to the troops it began sending to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland back in 2014, following the government overthrow the alliance supported in Ukraine.
But of course, if you look at Western media coverage of the conflict, they completely ignore the part where the NATO alliance has spent the last NINE years increasing its troop presence near Russia’s border, because this isn’t a proxy war and those forces definitely aren’t being used to train troops inside Ukraine…
Except that’s exactly what’s happening… and we’re not just seeing it in a border country where you would expect it, like Poland. We’re also seeing it in the UK, where the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense documented their troops being saluted and cheered on as they left training facilities back in April.
Then there’s the U.S. itself, which brought more than 100 Ukrainian troops to Oklahoma at the beginning of this year, and has since used its favorite propaganda outlets to brag about how well they’re doing in their training on the Patriot missile system.
Not to be forgotten, Canada has been doing some training of its own – with the President of the European Commission even revealing that Canada has been training Ukrainian troops since 2015.
“In parallel, we will continue training Ukrainian soldiers, like you are doing so, but you have been doing since 2015 already … our goal is to train 30,000 troops by the end of the year,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in March.
If that comes as a surprise to you… it shouldn’t. Because the U.S. and its NATO allies didn’t just help overthrow the democratically elected government in Ukraine in 2014 for the fun of it. They have been trying to weaken Russia’s economy and have even been preparing for a direct confrontation ever since. Which is why, as a reminder…
The CIA has been active in the region, training Ukrainian forces since at least 2015. That revelation was made in a Yahoo News report from January 2022 that was quickly ignored by the rest of the western media, and forgotten just a few weeks later.
Also forgotten are literally any principles the Biden Administration claims to have, as it flip-flops on claims that it wouldn’t send Ukraine Abrams tanks or F-16 fighter jets. Now, it’s all about cluster bombs—the same munitions that more than 100 countries signed a treaty to ban the use of back in 2008 because of the way they indiscriminately kill civilians.
Despite claiming that Russia was using cluster bombs and warning against it just last year, the Biden Administration has now changed its tune, and the first batch of ‘Made in America’ cluster bombs arrived in Ukraine on Thursday, according to reports.
Of course, Kiev has promised to show restraint… the same way they promised they wouldn’t use the U.S.-supplied HIMARS rockets to target Russian territory—and they then proceeded to do just that.
Yet even though the Biden Administration is clearly involved in every aspect of this war—providing funding, supplies, training and intelligence—they continue to act as if Zelensky is his own man, making his own decisions. As if peace talks won’t happen until he decides they should.
But the reality here is that Zelensky is just another puppet – and that was made abundantly clear this week at the NATO summit, where instead of getting an official invite to the alliance, he got an awkward photo-op and became the meme of the month for many on the internet, as the U.S. and Germany were reported to have once again blocked Ukraine’s NATO bid.
Not only is Zelensky a puppet, but he’s not even a good one. He’s not the kind like Olaf Scholz, who stands accused of working with Biden to blow up his country’s own pipeline and harming his own people just to spite Russia. Or like Emmanuel Macron, who tries to maintain diplomacy with China and Russia and openly warns Europe against becoming a “vassal” for the U.S. while he’s clearly acting as just that.
Zelensky is the kind of puppet who is entirely controlled by the U.S. and its allies – and who is essentially useful until he isn’t. And when he’s no longer the ‘hero’ that Western media have spent the last year and a half worshipping – he will inevitably become the villain.
Because at the end of the day, the U.S. war machine does not care about Ukraine, its people or the future of the nation. It cares about profits, domination, and seeking to hurt anyone standing in its way—and that’s something everyone should be talking about.
