The latest G20 summit was held over the weekend in India, and the final declaration marked a notable difference from the message that was sent by the alliance last November in Bali.

While the 2022 statement condemned “aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine,” the 2023 declaration focused on the “human suffering and negative added impacts of the war in Ukraine with regard to global food and energy security,” and it didn’t even mention Russia.
