While Netanyahu is already warning about plans to control the Gaza Strip’s “overall security” indefinitely, the Biden Admin is calling for “humanitarian pauses” and reportedly encouraging Israel to just “use smaller bombs” on one of the most densely populated areas on Earth.
Geopolitcal Analyst Brian Berletic joined me to discuss the latest, and he noted that Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, which has killed more than 10,000 Palestinians in the last month, wouldn’t be possible without U.S. support:
“This is not the first time Israel has conducted an incursion into Gaza. It’s not the first time they have mercilessly bombed their neighbors. Who is enabling all of this ultimately is the United States. Israel would not be capable of doing this without constant U.S. support. As a matter of fact, the U.S. is pondering money and weapons to be shipped to Israel as they conduct these operations.”
