When Did Ukraine Become The 51st State?
Biden's special trip to Kiev for a photo-op with Zelensky was his latest reminder that Ukraine is at the top of his priority list—while the chemical disaster in Ohio is far from it.
$113 BILLION. That’s the amount of money the U.S. Congress approved in aid for Ukraine in 2022 alone. To put it into perspective, Congress approved $146 BILLION for Afghanistan… over the course of 20 YEARS.
I know I’ve been in Russia for a few months, but did I miss the vote where the U.S. officially made Ukraine the 51st State?
Or is this just what happens when the U.S. Government sponsors a coup in your country? They support the new “Pro-Western government” at the expense of the people—both at home and abroad—and everything always turns out really well, which is why we saw years of civil war and a slave trade returning to Libya, the rise of ISIS in Iraq, and a Taliban takeover in Afghanistan.
But maybe it will be different this time in Ukraine… after all, Joe Biden has certainly made the country HIS top priority, and he seems to think the American people are with him. During a speech in Poland on Tuesday, he said, “All across my country, in big cities and small towns, Ukrainian flags fly from American homes.”
And yes, Biden is still saying that, despite the fact that the American people continue to say they wish he would focus on issues at home, like the U.S. Economy and the chemical disaster in Ohio.
But it appears that in Biden’s mind, that is nowhere near as important as spending American tax Dollars on all aspects of Ukraine—ensuring that it has plenty of funding (pensions included) for years to come, as he promised in April 2022.
If Biden wasn’t making it clear enough for everyone to see already, he just traveled to Ukraine to see Zelensky, where he promised another $500 MILLION in weapons and support. And despite the dramatic air raid sirens that rang out, the White House did admit that the entire trip was approved by Moscow, noting that they reached out to give Russia a “head’s up” about the visit.
That seems like an awful lot of work for a photo-op… and if you thought Biden might use this time to finally start encouraging peace talks with Russia—well, then you would be wrong. Instead, Biden just assured that as long as there are still soldiers to fight, the U.S. will keep sending them weapons to fight with.
“You remind us that freedom is priceless. It’s worth fighting for, for as long as it takes, and that’s how long we’re going to be with you, Mr. President. For as long as it takes,” Biden said during his trip to meet with Zelensky in Kiev.
That phrase has been used time and time again by members of the Biden Administration as they continue to fight a proxy war against Russia—while, of course, insisting it’s not a proxy war against Russia.
But despite the Ukrainian people having no choice in the matter, Biden continues to claim they are “free.” It simply wouldn’t be a US-sponsored conflict if someone didn’t bring up “Freedom and Democracy,” but is that really what the people of Ukraine have right now?
Well, the short answer is NO. And Zelensky has used martial law to impose the kind of policies that dictators dream of… He has banned any form of opposition, accusing anyone who doesn’t fully agree with him of being “pro-Russia.”
Zelensky nationalized the media, forcing all TV channels to be combined into one “unified information policy” platform, in the name of fighting disinformation, of course.
Oh, and Zelensky officially welcomed far-right neo-Nazis into the Ukrainian Military. While the establishment media was once somewhat honest about their horrific ideology, they are now running PR puff-pieces claiming the radicals have magically been de-radicalized… just like that!
If you’ve never seen the countless videos on social media showing Ukrainian men being ripped away from their families and forced to go to war, then consider yourself lucky. If you have, then you know the people are not free right now.
As for Democracy… well, just remember that Zelensky won the support of the nation back in 2019 because he ran as the anti-establishment, anti-corruption candidate who promised peace with Russia.
It may seem hard to believe looking at him now, but it’s important to remember than when the people of Ukraine were voting for him, they didn’t know he would turn into a Western-controlled puppet who would spend his time modeling for Vogue or doing interviews with David Letterman, while he forced his citizens to stay at war.
And while politicians and media talking heads have had no problem ignoring the clearly un-Democratic ways in which Zelensky is ruling over Ukraine right now… they also don’t want to talk about what Russian President Putin had to say during his State of The Nation speech this week, and whether he has a point when he says Kiev is being entirely controlled by the West, to the detriment of the Ukrainian people
“We are not at war with the people of Ukraine. This is something I have said many times. The people of Ukraine are now hostages to the Kiev regime and their Western masters who have effectively occupied the country,” Putin said.
For every government they have helped overthrow, the U.S. has shown that they don’t care about the people of the nation they are trying to control. And every indicator we have seen in the last 9 years tell us that it is different for Ukraine.
As we approach the one-year mark of the current conflict, and the media continues to portray it as something that came out of nowhere, it’s more important than ever to remember that this fight didn’t start on February 24, 2022—it started when the U.S. decided that it was time for Ukraine to have “Freedom and Democracy” back in 2014—and that’s something everyone should be talking about.
